More evidence for the effectiveness of EMDR for complex PTSD. Over 90% did not meet criteria for CPTSD after an 8 day intensive course of EMDR. Important to avoid prolonged stabilisation periods and move to active tx, with appropriate support.

How do we treat people who have been exposed to early childhood trauma. In adults it has been established that stabilization is unnecessary.
