How do we treat people who have been exposed to early childhood trauma. In adults it has been established that stabilization is unnecessary. Our study, which is almost completed, should provide more clarity on how this works for children and adolescents. bmcpsychiatry.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…
Great to join Dr Steph Lewis 💙 R Meiser-Stedman Katie Lofthouse at #ISTSS2023 to discuss scaleable options for supporting trauma-exposed CYP. Only 1-3% of UK youth with PTSD get access to evidenced-based treatments(!). Scalability is key but quality and evidence essential.
