ICYMI: Here’s Chad Jennings with a terrific profile on Jackson Holliday theathletic.com/5404368/2024/0…
In the fall of 2010, our college had a series against the Longhorns for a 3 game set. Our hitting coach at the time was Josh Holliday and his brother, Matt, brought his kid to our early practice. I remember watching his son Jackson Holliday with a sweet lefty swing. Go get em’ kid!
A day that started with so much love and promise ended with a shortstop in tears, a rotation in flux, and the Red Sox discussing another sloppy loss. Here's Jen McCaffrey on a sometimes wonderful, too often terrible home opener at Fenway.

Tuesday’s pregame ceremony at Fenway Park was about triumph and sadness, reunion and loss. It was about memories, not bullshit.
Stephen J. Nesbitt, Jen McCaffrey and I wrote about the man the 2004 Red Sox dearly missed.
And the one they didn’t.

Here’s Steve Buckley with a terrific piece on Brianna Wakefield and what this day meant to her and her family.
