If you haven't read the National Academies Report on the future of IES, go do it. This is a fantastic document for pressing IES to center equity in its topics, methods, and processes. Really hoping IES Research takes this up in a serious way! #EdResearch4theFuture

I can’t recommend this report enough. These are essential recommendations if research is to help make an impact for young people, particularly for those in communities that have been marginalized in past r&d efforts Adam Gamoran IES Research NCRPP Knowledge Alliance Results for America

Excited to see this work grow, especially give them recent call in National Academies report on need to better understand and support knowledge mobilization

“Inequality itself is multi-faceted and complex, and so too are the approaches and strategies necessary to tackle it” - @prudencelcarter & Michael Merry in this Spencer Foundation white paper: bit.ly/3OjAcMN #ThursdayThoughts

New Pub. This paper is hopefully the first of many illustrating both the limitations and potential of racial justice work in K-12 schools. We're excited to continue this work (in other contexts and over time) with the support of the Spencer Foundation.

A white paper from '21, worth a read! "RPPs--the work they do, the communities they engage, and the goals they pursue—will continue to evolve. This paper offers a snapshot of the landscape of RPPs at a pivotal moment." Caitlin Farrell @bpenuel @julia_daniel16 wtgrantfoundation.org/research-pract…
