Love is in the Air - Spanish Style 💗🇪🇸 A month-long celebration of love is launching at CAVA BODEGA this Feb. A popular date night spot in #Galway, this tapas restaurant offers cosy, candle-lit vibes but there's lots more going on for #ValentinesDay 👇 thisisgalway.ie/love-is-in-the…

Very sad to see the closure of Eithnes by the Sea, Mullaghmore #Sligo; a wonderful seafood restaurant on Wild Atlantic Way. What a contrary policy to expand Dublin airport, increase tourist numbers, while restaurants close all over the country. Where will they all eat, Starbucks?

🚨Long overdue Dublin’s Victorian fruit and vegetable market finally to reopen The revamped retail food market and restaurant complex will reopen in just over two years’ time, following an extensive refurbishment and fit-out programme irishtimes.com/ireland/dublin…

Ruth Hegarty The Irish Times Great article. Very disappointing to hear that meals are highly processed, with no focus on re-usable containers, supporting local food producers or vegetables.

Martin Shanahan Adrian Cummins 🇮🇪🇪🇺 In fairness AIB supported the second CAVA BODEGA and Tartare. But always difficult to get finance for food. We really need to change this attitude in Ireland. How do we expect a food culture to arise without proper funding?

The situation in England echoes a key point I made in my Irish Times piece a couple of weeks ago: this is public money, taxpayers money, being used to provide school meals, it should not be allowed to be used to fund substandard food. Who are the main beneficiaries of this money?

Buy Local Organic! As a consumer how can you support organics in 2024? Perhaps it's making one swap in your weekly shop or ordering online from your favourite organic producer/farmer/maker? However you choose to support Organics, it really makes a difference! #demandorganic
