This week we're commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE day! Did you know that in WW2 the Carpet Gardens were dug up to grow onions, much to the dismay of residents. Legend has it that the council didn't even get the chance to harvest the crop as soldiers got there first!

Although we are currently advising against visiting Eastbourne, we think we'll let this lovely pod of dolphins off!

When trying to support local businesses Eastbourne BC decide to nearly DOUBLE on street parking charges. From £2.00 for two hours it is now £3.90 for two hours. Why not kick local businesses when they’re down? As the saying goes, “You can’t teach stupid!” Just a thought....
