RTÉ News New figures show hospital waiting lists increased by almost 24,000 last month, to 843,336 patients waiting for treatment, or to be seen at a clinic. There were 622,963 patients waiting to be seen at an outpatient clinic, up over 16,700 on the number waiting in December.
