Please save these services Roderic O’Gorman TD Peadar Tóibín TD Leo Varadkar Michael McGrath tipperarylive.ie/news/home/9814…
Seriously Roderic O’Gorman TD! Anyone with half an eye open can see that funding that only increased once in 12 years is NOT sufficiently funded. Let's see any department function on 2015s funding in this climate. Norma Foley T.D can secure extra funding in a time of crisis so can you
We are meeting our minister on Monday afternoon for discussion around the viability of small and medium services. We are hopeful for a good out come. Minister we can only hope you are not going to waste our time and that you will put real solutions on the table. Roderic O’Gorman TD
Our protest this Friday on our lack of funding is gaining huge momentum. Maybe it’s time to negotiate a deal so we can all get on with the job we love doing and parents can go to work. Massive protests all around the country on Friday 11th - and another planned for 25th November.
MINISTER, THIS IS EVIDENCE!

This is not the end. Providers will not be silenced. Thousands of children impacted today. There has to be change. #faircorefunding
The Federation of Early Childhood Providers Roderic O’Gorman TD Seven Euro per week!
Less than 50 cents an hour
Hundreds of services close impacting THOUSANDS of children and their parents. The time for action is now.... You can change this Roderic O’Gorman TD all we ask for is a rise of 7 euro an hour per child. Aren't the children and their educators worth it???
Meanwhile, we plough on with MULTIPLE regulators, systems that are a JOKE, and for the punchline? Little recognition of the overtime and stress this causes. We're doing Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, Youth's crazy admin for them, for free, so that the Minister can keep making yet more promises to the public.
Roderic O’Gorman TD continues to ignore the cries for help from the sector. We've done 3 protests, this is our 4th. Hundreds of emails. They don't see an issue. Well, providers have a BIG PROBLEM with that position.
The Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, Youth insist that just because they've given funds to all other service types (some as little as €100 per YEAR or less) that there's no case to answer here. That's wrong. It's also insulting and demoralising.
Hello, it is a fact that if you have a highly qualified educator in a 22-child ECCE session, it gets ZERO net additional via Core Funding. Hasn't increased in 4yrs, so a MAJOR erosion in take-home pay for the owner. That's just one reason we're closing 1/7 🧵 Micheál Martin
11th November services nationwide will be closing their doors in protest. Capitation for Ecce services must be raised to €76 per child at a cost of €30 to Government if this does not happen we will loose so many small services next year. Roderic O’Gorman TD you must fix this.
This statement says it all. Roderic O’Gorman TD I did not work for many years building my business for you to manage it and under refund. We have a very high quality services. Respect our hard work. Micheál Martin Michael McGrath save small business
Ordinary providers who just want to do the job we love, pay staff & ourselves a fair wage have been excluded from any benefit of CF but Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, Youth couldn't be fair, now forced to close our doors to try be heard, very hard to see where €1 billion investment went?
