This is what happens when we give a voice to lies, and validate them with elected officials. The most insane part is our president himself stirred the pot. This is not "making America great again", this is destroying everything we stand for. This is domestic terrorism.

The hard truth: as long as wild conspiracies spread more rapidly on the internet than mundane facts - and are propagated by political leaders - we can only expect more destabilizing events as more people genuinely believe them & turn to extremism.

Adding to today's tragedy, the breachers/insurrectionists weren't just randoms; they included military veterans and even a few state legislators who have been repeatedly lied to & become radicalized. The free flow of conspiracies isn't a nuisance; it's a national security threat.

Impeachment is not furthering a divide. It is holding accountable parties for insurrection and treason, acts that should NEVER go unpunished.
