It's going to be so much fun to watch the D&D movie and count the scenes where things happen that are not covered by the D&D rules. It'll be a 'D&D movie' the same way many campaigns are 'D&D games' while not engaging with the majority of the rules.

I'm partial to the battle-axe myself, but I can appreciate a heavy sword used as a club! A++, would join in battle any day.

Puzzles in computer RPGs are a fun diversion. Puzzles in tabletop RPGs rarely work, and if they do, they are un-fun. I never have a puzzle in my tabletop RPGs, and I think my sessions are better for it.

Please do not rely on social media (and especially not Mastodon!) to conduct sensitive business. Please get an end-to-end encrypted messaging solution for things like that. I would personally recommend Signal.
