We’re approaching the 20th anniversary since starting work on the Gwrych Castle Estate, here is just one example of the progress we have made with the impassable paths & lost pathways restored by the trust in 2002-2006. We will bring you more on this over the next couple of days.

Here’s a photo of Gwrych Castle in 2014 by Forgotten Heritage, taken prior to the transformation of our formal gardens. Volunteers planted 5,000 plants in 2017 to transform the derelict former private gardens into a colourful masterpiece 🏰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

These photos show the upper floors of Gwrych Castle which later collapsed in 1997 after years of vandalism, arson and neglect. We look forward to accessing the many levels of Gwrych Castle in the near future!
