How about #Anatomy case for this beautiful #Friday morning? The infraorbital nerve is a branch of the maxillary nerve, itself a branch of the trigeminal nerve (CN V). It travels through the orbit and enters the infraorbital canal to exit onto the face through the infraorbital

The Spinal Engine (SE) Theory is a fascinating area of research, and something that to me makes intuitive sense. Here I have a national level sprinter performing a midweek circuit designed to emphasize the SE mechanics. More ⬇️

The Science of Wearable Resistance! Here are four studies worth reading on lower body micro loading. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32329417/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33866940/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33583334/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32713270/ My recommendation is to do your homework first!

Tendon is mostly well-aligned type I collagen. When you get an injury, the type I collagen fibrils break and the body fills in the area with a type III collagen scar. I’m unsure if you can get things back to well-aligned type I collagen or if you’re left with a scar forever.

Very interesting to see lateral motion with wearable resistance. Similar to markers on the body with motion analysis, deformation and muscle vibration can distort what happens. Due to budgets for high school, we tested alternative products and found some great surprises.

In this animation, we showcase the movement known as “dart-throwing motion” – a diagonal movement of the wrist from the back of the hand to the palm side. This motion is ideal for demonstrating the significant contribution of the mid-carpal joint to the hand's overall kinematics.
