Well voting for the UNISON - UK's largest union NEC election is officially over. I’d like to say a big thank you to all branches & members in the southeast that lent me their support. I also wish all the best to my fellow Members Together UNISON candidates. The results will be available 11 June.

A big thank you for the Maidstone And West Kent #CoopParty allowing me to continue as Secretary. I will do my best to grow our branch, raise our profile & wave the Co-operative Party banner. #VoteCoop

Even though I didn’t have any luck, it was fun dressing up as the UK’s first PM Sir Robert Walpole & see people vote for the The Labour Party legend Clement Attlee as who they thought was the best PM at the #SevenoaksDebatingSociety last week.

Was good yesterday to join Lola Oyewusi in representing the Maidstone & West Kent Co-operative Party at the South East Co-Operative Party meeting & to hear from #CoopParty NEC Rep for England South Lucy Naylor.

98 years ago today, Co-operative Party & The Labour Party signed the Cheltenham Agreement, creating the historic partnership between the two Parties. I’m proud to be a member of both Sevenoaks Labour Party & Maidstone & West Kent #CoopParty.

Interesting & informative discussions yesterday at the UNISONSouthEastYM Forum meeting about organising young UNISON - UK's largest union members & strategic organising.

Even though I didn’t quite get the result I hoped for in the UNISON - UK's largest union NEC election yesterday, I’m very proud to have stood, to have met & have a chat with many fantastic UNISON South East members, & to get to know many of my fellow brilliant Members Together UNISON candidates.

Some lovely & amazing food, stalls & music yesterday at the #UzbekFestival in Potters Fields Park by Tower Bridge.

Was good to hear & reflect yesterday on how our party candidates did at the #LocalElections2024, on our now The Labour Party & Co-operative Party Government & how our party is growing & achieving our co-op priorities at the #CoopParty AGM.
