It’s clear now that Metrolinx scheduled tree cutting at Moss Park and Osgoode simultaneously to minimize protests. They kept a local MPP and Opposition Leader from receiving notice of the clear cutting so they couldn’t muster bodies to protest. The whole thing was political.
