Toronto’s Business Improvement Areas make our city’s main streets more vibrant, animated & successful places for businesses- and for our communities to meet. I was delighted to attend the 11th Annual Toronto Association of BIAs (TABIA) and City of Toronto BIA Recognition Awards Night this evening.
great event today, thanks for organizing West End Phoenix Ontario Place for All © thx Josh Matlow great speech, bang on, shall continue the fight for environment, sustainability, heritage, public friendly Ontario Place for all!
I was deeply grateful to participate in an interfaith holiday concert with Holy Blossom Temple & MCC Toronto in support of Ve'ahavta, helping people in poverty throughout our city. It was an evening full of music, joy, compassion, cooperation & peace. Let’s do more of this together.
It was such a heartfelt pleasure to attend events of two of my favorite MPs (and friends) today. First, Carolyn Bennett’s festive holiday party and then a beautiful party to celebrate Michael Michael Coteau’s 20th anniversary in elected office.
It’s not over. The fight for Ontario Place and the Science Centre continues on the ground. I was proud to stand in support of Ontario Place for All © and Save Ontario's Science Centre again today, at a telethon fundraiser hosted by the amazing West End Phoenix.
Toronto Together was an extraordinarily successful and positive event! Thanks to Olivia Chow & David Miller T.O. for your leadership and true friendship. I’m deeply grateful to the hundreds of diverse, passionate and caring people who attended. You have my love and gratitude.
I’m very proud to work closely with, and actively support, Ontario Place for All ©’s efforts to protect our public waterfront, over 800 mature trees, our natural environment & wildlife habitat on Lake Ontario. Let’s create a vibrant, fun, green, revitalized Ontario Place, for all of us.
Councillor Josh Matlow had some equipment installed on the beltline and I have to tell you that I find it irresistible to step over and attempt a flexed arm hang on my morning walk, much to the chagrin of my dog. You really do not need moving parts.
I always appreciate working with TDSB school trustee Shelley Laskin. Shelley is thoughtful, hardworking and cares deeply about kids and community. It was such a pleasure discussing priorities together over a cup of coffee.
Today is Arts Day in the City. I love and appreciate the arts in our city, our artists and will always advocate for a creative, vibrant and more affordable Toronto. We all enjoyed an inspiring speech by Mayor Olivia Chow. She was truly impressive. Thank you TAPA Toronto Arts Council
