Yesterday marked the 21st anniversary of carnage and multiple casualties. 1st May 2004 we got smashed in an ambush, I was in the back of the warrior armoured fighting vehicle treating casualties in pure chaos not knowing if we would make it out alive. JBVC got us out 🫡

Thank you to Lisa Nandy MP for her statement today. The BBC has serious questions to answer about its Glastonbury coverage - with 400 staff on site, what were they all doing?

Lucy Connolly pleaded guilty & was sentenced. Ricky Jones pleaded not guilty & was acquitted by a jury. That is not two-tier justice. It is legally illiterate to imply one was punished & the other ‘let off scot free’ - when one of them was quite literally acquitted after trial.

Chris Philp MP Your post is quite astonishing. You either believe in jury trial or you do not. For as long as I can remember the Conservative Party has seen it as a key part of our freedom under law. If so, you have to accept the right of a jury to bring in a verdict with which you might

The jury system has been the foundation of English criminal justice and active citizenship for over 700 years; we can’t allow David Lammy, who is so shamefully ignorant of both history and arithmetic that he thought Henry VII succeeded Henry VIII, to undo the work of centuries.
