This is the development off Camberwell New Road & Bolton Crescent, built on green space. At planning permission stage, active frontage (shops) was promised at the ground floor, as well as permeability. This isn’t really permeability, if gated. Can we do better, near red routes?

Another lovely view of the Wyndham & Comber towers, appreciated by traders and residents on both sides of Camberwell New Road since they were built. TfL often routes buses down Wyndham Road as part of driver training. If car traffic falls, we might even get a route! 🙏🏽🙏🏼🙏🏿🙏

Spectacular contrast of architectural styles coming onto Camberwell New Road from Flodden Road, one of the main gateways to the Regency shopping parade Clarendon Terrace. The mix of uses and buildings from different areas makes this area of West Camberwell truly special. 👍

People do walk, and signs like these are helpful to let them know about nearby destinations. One for Clarendon Terrace Regency shopping parade (pictured) would be very welcome in this forgotten corner of West Camberwell!

Let's do what we can to protect local shops, especially shopping parades outside major town centres, like Clarendon Terrace, powered by Miah Close loading and access road. It makes sense to protect visitor areas which have fewer issues with crowd-based viral transmission.

Thank you to everyone that supported our #CleanAirCamberwell where we asked the local bus operators @AbellioLondon and Go-Ahead London to remind their drivers to switch off their engines when changing drivers. We are planning to meet with the bus companies to raise the issue.
