⛰ Himalayan Hills habitat open ⛰ The Himalayan Hills, Dublin Zoo’s newest habitat is now open to the public! Inspired by the natural habitat of red pandas and snow leopards in the wild, the Himalayan mountain range.

Visitors can gaze up the slope through a panoramic viewing area to try to spot a well-camouflaged snow leopard then travel along the rocky trail to see the red pandas exploring their new elevated forest habitat. Learn more about the new habitat here: dublinzoo.ie/news/brand-new…

Snow leopards are classified as Vulnerable by the IUCN Red List Dublin Zoo supports Snow Leopard Trust where our funding goes towards community-based programs aimed at creating incentives for local farmers to protect their livestock whilst supporting the local wildlife.

.Dublin Zoo has announced the arrival of an endangered #Okapi calf. The male calf was born on 7 July. Okapis are a large, hoofed animal related to the giraffe. The zoo said the calf is in excellent health and has been growing steadily.
