Lithuania has driven home how ravaged the Irish countryside is. Skies here noisy with larks, martins, swifts. So much richness everywhere - yellowhammers, redstarts, marsh harriers, lapwings, etc. Lots of space for nature through agricultural land. What I'm not seeing? Livestock.
