I just found myself on a nostalgic IDC rabbit hole and ended up in a 1981 ad in Computerworld about applied #AI. Not much has changed since then of course. Except that Ottowa apparently changed the spelling of their name to Ottawa. We all remember that, right?

Such a surreal and sad moment to be watching CNN Jake Tapper 🦅 in Tel Aviv talking about the gun violence epidemic that has finally (inevjtably?) afflicted Maine the way it has so many other states in recent years.

We have always done trick-or-treat where I live on 10/30 for unknown reasons. So far my tally on Halloween costumes is Barbie 1, Oppenheimer 0. But it's early, I think some of those later high school kids might skew Oppenheimer

As an aging white man I was dubious about PBS Washington Week with The Atlantic | PBS affiliation with The Atlantic but new host Jeffrey Goldberg, who happens to be another aging white man , is really knocking it out of the park. (For younger people, that's a baseball analogy)
