Nothing like sitting inside your home w/ windows open smelling 25 months of piss, shit & filth because #Oakland gov is allowing an enormous encampment to exist less than 30 ft away. The last time the sidewalk & street underneath were cleaned was Aug 2022. #california #BayArea

The gutter outside my house on 29th St (in between MLK/Telegraph). It is filled w/ trash, septic tank water from RVs & other human waste since there are no portapotties at the encampment. This is an environ & public health disaster. #Oakland #California #AlamedaCounty #BayArea

Grateful for the recent cleanup on 29th St—1st time in 4+ years w/out RVs! However, the odor of human waste is now overwhelming since the RVs acted as a wind block—& likely dumped their septic tanks before leaving our street. Urgently need another cleanup. #Oakland #AlamedaCounty
