I’m very excited to have started working for BTO on a new project to engage people in nature across Northern Ireland. More soon! Sooty shearwater and storm petrels from the ferry to Belfast this weekend

Can you help with the national breeding Woodcock Survey this spring (1 May–30 June)? We still have a number of vacant squares in Northern Ireland, especially in the north of the country, that we would love to get covered 👉 bto.org/woodcock

My nest finding streak continues, with a perfectly formed Blackcap nest. Beautifully woven into brambles, with moss and spiders webs in the nest. The variety and enginering in birds nests never ceases to amaze me! Once again will be monitored as part of BTO #NestRecordScheme
