How does a Spring filled with farmland birds and beautiful sunrises sound?☀️

We're currently on the lookout for volunteers to help out carry out surveys on farms in Co.Down to help us understand how seed-eating farmland birds are faring.

One of the most promising periods of the winter so far for insect dispersal from N. Africa, from Tuesday, 13th. Wednesday and Thursday look particularly good at this stage. The good news is that winds will be fairly light and the moths should disperse further east this time.

1) Wildflowers for adult pollenators and ecosystem services like flood mitigation;
2) Native shrubs providing heterogeneity for fruit eating birds and specialist insects;
