Two very distant Orcas off Levenwick, #Shetland this afternoon gave us closer but brief views SumburghHead a couple of hours later. They are SN204 & SN205 - members of the Iceland-Scotland population. 1st record of SN205 in Shetland waters and only the second record of SN204.

A fantastic few days for our two 'Autumn Gold' birding groups. Highlights thus far have included Isabelline Shrike, European Bee-eater, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Richard's Pipit, Little Bunting, Olive-backed Pipit, lots of Yellow-browed Warblers & a pod of Long-finned Pilot Whales.
