#OnThisDay in 1716 Lancelot Capability Brown was baptised in Kirkharle, Northumberland. Brown was a landscape designer who is referred to as the 'Shakespeare of gardening'. We funded the #CapabilityBrown Festival Capability Brown in 2016.
