Unpopular opinion of the day: If your students don’t have any autonomy or authentic choice in their reading and writing, your class isn’t a reading/writing workshop or literacy studio. Passing out TpT worksheets while wearing a beret isn’t going to cut it.

Not all the work curriculum coordinators do is digital. Sometimes you move the furniture, cut up standards and organize them into beautiful new integrated units on paper with tape on the floor. So fun, and we learned SO MUCH as a collaborative team about PreK Guidelines!
