Sometimes a cloud service has _exactly_ what you need. Saved by DynamoDB's ConditionExpression + ReturnValues for handling out of order dependent writes. Thanks Amazon Web Services. #aws

"you are wrong about serverless vendor lock-in" it's not a lock-in, consider the return for the risk, lack of focus is a bigger risk, data is the real lock-in, and beware of vested interests lumigo.io/blog/you-are-w… #serverless #aws #awslambda cc/ Lumigo

Spinning up #Architecture_Kata practice with some coworkers. Deciding between groups all sharing 1 problem vs. every group having their own. Do you have a fav. approach Ted Neward or Neal Ford (or anyone else)?

We just ran our updated #loadtest against #simpletriviaservice #serverless game. 230k players in total, never topped 1k function concurrency, and the majority of functions ran in under 1 second. More stats to come in the blog!

Today I'm excited to share the newest addition to AWS Lambda Powertools for TypeScript: meet the Parameters utility 🎉 This utility provides high-level functions to retrieve one or multiple parameter values from SSM, Secrets Manager, AppConfig, and DynamoDB, or your own store. ✨

Hey! We launched a small but mighty library called AWS Integrated Application Test Kit to make integration testing easier for event-driven apps. It's in preview, and we would love your feedback on this! aws.amazon.com/blogs/compute/… blogpost - aws.amazon.com/blogs/compute/… #eventbridge
