The IBHS Hail Study team crushes it – with crush tests! 🧊 During deployments, #researchers use a pistol-grip clamp to determine the hardness of a hailstone, including hard, soft or slushy #hail. This information helps inform our lab-produced hail at the IBHS #Research Center.
