I have completed A Task! Well, a sub-task of a huge meta-task really. But the upshot is that the spare room has one complete coat of primer on the ceiling, and it's hiding the repairs really well! Unless you know they're there and go looking, of course.

I've ordered my first pair of multifocal glasses and I'm looking forward to peering downward at nearby things and upward at things in the distance.

I finally finished the primer coat on the spare room! Tomorrow I paint the ceiling for real. I bought a new shade for the light in there too, as a treat. Next week, walls!
