Knapweed is a real favourite with pollinators at this time of year. Best known as a meadow wildflower, it flowers throughout July and August. Often a good place to spot male bumblebees.

Today it is cooler and breezy but the sun is out - great weather for monitoring pollinators ⁦UK Pollinator Monitoring Scheme⁩ I am delighted that I have already seen bumblebees, hoverflies and butterflies 🐝🦋😊
