man had a tornado warned storm come right at town and it slammed into a big wall of stable air and shit itself. at least i was right that it would get tornado warned after a southern cell merger gave it some oomph.

On the one hand I love seeing people taking an interest in storm chasing (and hopefully meteorology by extension), but at the same time the chaser convergences will get people seriously injured or killed. Just my 2 cents as a casual storm enjoyer.

And to air out my own chasing sins: once about 10+ years ago I was approaching a tornado warned storm and was paying attention to an interesting cloud phenomena instead of my surroundings. I ended up driving directly under the developing tornado.
