The attack on my friend & comrade Adv Tumusiime this morning—on his way to Buganda Road Chief Magistrate’s Court to defend his clients—is unfortunate and I strongly condemn it. Ordinary thieves are not interested in court files in the possession of a Human Rights Defender.

This morning thugs attacked our lawyer Adv Tumusiime and robbed him of his belongings. He had yesterday appeared before City Hall Court to defend the 5 #savebugomaforest activists that were arrested at Parliament. Uganda Police Force @naturaljust

This morning Adv Tumusiime has been attacked around Komamboga & robbed him of all his belongings including court files, diary & phones as he was heading to Buganda Road Court. He is involved in defending StopEACOP activists. We are told that he is equally injured.
