The FDNY honored Firefighter William “Billy” Moon II with a plaque dedication at Rescue 2, where he was assigned. His wife, Kristina, his children, Colin and Brianne, his parents, William Senior and Patricia, joined many members of his extended family in attending the ceremony.

Billy Moon takes his spot on the wall. Remembered forever, inspiring present and future generations to live a life of sacrifice and selflessness.

Sunday, the FDNY held a plaque dedication to honor Firefighter William “Billy” Moon, a 21-year veteran of the Department. On 12/12/22, he suffered a head injury during a training exercise at Rescue 2. His family made the decision to donate his organs to save the lives of others.
