Recently, the FDNY Youth Workforce and Pipeline Program held a training session for new drill instructors at the EMS Academy in Fort Totten.

On Tuesday, FDNY units responded to a report of a fire at 2052 71st Street in Brooklyn.
 
The fire was placed under control at 2:57 PM. Seven firefighters were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by FDNY Fire Marshals.

In response to Monday's fatal fire at 94-57 44th Avenue in Queens, the #FDNY Fire Safety Education Unit will be sharing lifesaving information in front of City Fresh Market, located at 45-08 Junction Blvd until 2 p.m. today.

On Sunday, Paramedic Robert Kelly retired after 32 years of service. Since 1992, Paramedic Kelly served the people of the Bronx at EMS Station 14. We wish Paramedic Kelly a happy and healthy retirement!

On Sunday, climbers raced up 1,100 feet to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt during the 2nd Annual FDNY Foundation climb. The Foundation partnered with SL Green Realty Corp. to raise money to purchase stair climbers for FDNY firehouses and EMS stations.

Congrats to the #FDNY Hockey Team, who claimed victory in the 50th Anniversary Hockey Heroes game against NYPD NEWS ! Together, the teams raise thousands of dollars for first responder charities.  It was a hard-fought game.
