On Tuesday, FDNY units responded to a report of a fire at 2052 71st Street in Brooklyn.
 
The fire was placed under control at 2:57 PM. Seven firefighters were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by FDNY Fire Marshals.

On Sunday, climbers raced up 1,100 feet to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt during the 2nd Annual FDNY Foundation climb. The Foundation partnered with SL Green Realty Corp. to raise money to purchase stair climbers for FDNY firehouses and EMS stations.
