Small EDS chronic illness update. I have sprained my knee, no idea what caused it. Im on muscle relaxers and painkillers for a week. After the x-rays they found bone spurs in my knees which means the cartilage is wearing down, so a cane might become a permanent accessory of mine

Got back from my MRI yesterday and the results show my cartilage in my lower back is disintegrating. Ive been diagnosed with lower lumbar facet arthropathy and degenerative disc disease most prominent at L5-S1. I have a follow up appointment monday to see what I can do about it

Currently still on pain meds and nervous system suppressant med. Because this is my third back issue Ive had I had an interview with Kaiser Spine Institute and they accepted me! Ill have a case manager, pain specialist and a physical therapist all working together to help me.

Some recovery, less pain but fatigue and small hand tremors are still there, but theyre going away. Hoping I can get back to drawing this month All my blood panels came back negative so the next step is sending me to a rheumatologist. Fibromyalgia was mentioned as a possibility

Lots of mobility back and way less pain. Still dealing with tremors from the initial flare and now the opiate withdrawals from being on them for a month but Im making a pretty speedy recovery. Im gonna try sketching some stuff out for myself and see how I can handle it

Anastasia tied up again Was able to sketch something up for fun. Im going to do a few more days of practicing to refresh myself but ill be picking comms back up this month
