Yesterday I traveled with Father Justin Ward to Auburn and celebrated Mass at St. Michael Parish for Auburn University students from the Diocese of Birmingham. Thank you for the wonderful visit and dinner!

This Friday, the Diocese of Birmingham will mark the Solemnity of St. Joseph at the Cathedral of St. Paul. Canon Law indicates that Friday penance is not required when a Solemnity falls on a Friday (canon 1251). All Catholics may enjoy meat in his honor that day!
