ATHLETES: Have fun celebrating #NewYearsEve 🎉🎊🥳 but be wise. One small lapse in judgement or poor choice can be detrimental. Don’t let one little mistake lead to a big problem. Stay focused. Look out for each other. Be a great teammate.

ATHLETES: Protect your mindset. One of the fastest ways to lose confidence is to listen to outside voices that drive you to blame, complain, and make excuses.

Players who do their own thing in the weight room, will do their own thing in games. You want your coaches (and teammates), to know that you're fully committed, and ALL IN?! Show up early, do the team workouts, go above & beyond, and empower others to do the same!

“BAD teams never talk. AVERAGE teams talk when they're winning. GOOD teams talk often. GREAT teams never stop talking. CHAMPIONSHIP teams always talk about talking more...in huddles, at halftime, in time outs.” — Jon Beck | #SKO

Coaches: You will have to battle the February blues. Burned out coaches perform about as well as burned out players. When it comes to practice & workouts, be short & efficient with high intensity rather than being there for long periods of time. Presence doesn’t equal production.
