Medical history! Started in July 1924, the medical school in Mysuru KA; Mysore Medical College & Research Institute marked its centennial recently. India Post stamp was dedicated by uni officials on 17th July. Slightly late, but worthy recognition. #BetterPhila #Stamps25

Queen of pepper! India Post President of India dedicated stamp on 24th Jul on Rani Chennabhairadevi, who ruled in 16th century Karnataka (Nagire province). Follower of Jain religion, she fought wars and traded spices with Portuguese. #BetterPhila #Stamps25
