Saw 3 patients today with long covid, something I feel that’s not being considered when talking of lifting restrictions. If we continue to let COVID rip through society & lift important measures like face masks, we risk more people suffering with debilitating chronic illness

Boris Johnson may be ending plan B measures, including mandatory face masks, despite 100k new cases of Covid a day. But my advice as a doctor is to strongly recommend continuing to wear masks in indoor spaces outside home. To protect ourselves, our loved ones & each other 💙
