Thank you to John Gardner for the invite to speak at the dedication of the Jesse Owens Memorial Garden! It's located a block from Quad Park, (site of the old MU Stadium). I enjoyed sharing the story of the race between Ralph Metcalfe and Owens there in '34 and their friendship.
