Interesting and thought provoking day yesterday at the bat care conference.

Hib checks today. Big suprise to see a barb in one of our little ice hoses and 20 plus noctules in a hibernation box.

Morning underground at s site that has not been surveyed for a while, only three bats but an absail down into a 70ft shaft was enough to be going on with.

Don't forget we have out AGM tomorrow. Park House, Reading Uni. 7.30pm. After a short AGM we have a talk/discussion on the new bat survey guidelines.
