Hello everyone! Welcome to another special episode of #ChristmaswithBella & #MasterChefSheep! Tonight Truffles the Sheep & I are making a ginger trifle, well trifle is a Christmas tradition here in the UK! 😀🎄🦡🎄🐑

We are being helped tonight by our lovely Guernsey Bears friend Bertram 😍 #ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

For the squidgy slurpy part of our trifle we are using a couple of Jamaica ginger cakes 😋 Let’s start by cutting the first cake into thick slices…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Now carefully lay the slices of cake across the bottom of your trifle bowl…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Carefully spoon over approximately 6 tablespoons of ginger wine and squidge the cake slices down well…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Next sprinkle about 4 teaspoons of chopped glacé ginger or stem ginger over the base…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Now slice the other ginger cake…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Place on top of the base and add another 6 tablespoons of ginger wine and press down…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Top with 1 pint of custard, allow to cool and then put in the fridge to set…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

When the custard is fully set whip approx 300ml of whipping cream into a frenzy until it thickens and the whisk leaves peaks of cream when removed…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep

Carefully spread the cream over the trifle and pop the trifle back in the fridge until ready to serve…#ChristmaswithBella #MasterChefSheep
