Bittersweet day! Got to see a lot friendly faces today. We hosted our last trainer decathlon today and invited everyone from the past 25 years of sports medicine. Covid made it very difficult to pull off but we still had a great turnout and got to see a lot of great people!!

Congratulations to Kaetlyn Blackburn as a recipient of the Lanny Williams award for student athletic training aides. This award is given to the top 3 students in Arizona for their work in sports medicine. She will recognized next week at the winter AZATA symposium #cvsmod

Our sports med family is completely heartbroken for the tragic passing of Jayson Murset. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Murset family for peace and comfort at this difficult time and also for the full recovery of Jayson’s father, David, and sister, Savana. 🤍

celebrating senior.. Kiran Patel💚 Kiran has committed over 420 hours of service to sports medicine in the past 2 years that he has been apart of our program. He will be furthering his education at the University of Arizona and majoring in Pre Health.

celebrating senior.. Jenna Werner⭐️ Jenna is the secretary of sports medicine and has been a student trainer for 3 years and accumulated over 800 hours of service. She will be attending ASU in the fall to pursue a career in nursing!

celebrating senior.. Gracie Norburg🧡 Gracie has participated in sports medicine for all 4 years of highschool and now serves as the treasurer of our program. She has accumulated 1084 hours of service and will be attending Grand Canyon University in the fall to study business.

celebrating senior.. Emma Brown 🤍 Emma is the co-vice president of our program and has proven her commitment to sports medicine for the past 4 years. She has accumulated over 1,300 hours of service. Emma will attend Grand Canyon University to pursue a degree in nursing.

celebrating senior.. Sarah Vaughn🧡 Sarah is the co-vice president of our program and has accumulated over 1,250 hours in the 3 years she has participated in sports med. She will be attending Northern Arizona University in the fall to pursue a career in athletic training.

celebrating senior.. Kaetlyn Blackburn 💪🏼 Kaetlyn is the president of sports medicine and has accumulated over 2,000 service hours throughout her high school career that reflect her devotion to our program. She will be furthering her education at Northern Arizona University!
