Grinnell falls to Independence Thursday, 8-1. Piper and Alyssa earn the win at 2 Dubs. A rough Senior Night for the Tigers but still a week to improve before the conference tournament.

The Tigers earned a 7-2 win over Marion Tuesday to complete the regular season. Grinnell swept doubles to open the day with Ella/ Katie, Piper R/ Alyssa, and Piper M/ Mallorie claiming wins.

The Tigers completed a 7-2 dual win over Marion with four singles wins. Piper R, Ella, Katie, and Piper M claimed the wins.

The Tigers are in Mount Vernon today for the WaMaC Conference Tennis Tournament facing Independence, Marion, Mount Vernon, and South Tama.

4 Seed Izzy earns a quick 8-0 win in Flight 5 singles to get the tournament started. She advances to the semifinals and earns a shot at the number 1 seed.

#1 Seed Ella gets a 8-1 win in Flight 2 Singles to advance to the finals.

Congratulations to GB Tiger Tennis alum, Coach Alex Farmer on guiding the Independence Mustangs to the WaMaC Championship in his first season leading the program.

Grinnell will host Individual Regional Tennis Wednesday, September 17 at 9:00. Grinnell will host Team Regional Round 1, Saturday September 20, at 10 am vs Union.

Grinnell earns the first round Team Regional win, 5-3 over Union to advance to round 2 Wednesday. Singles winners were Piper R, Ella, Alyssa, and Izzy.

2 Doubles Piper and Alyssa claim the 5th point to earn the team victory and advance the Tigers to the next round.

Izzy earned the Points Hogg against Union with a, 6-0, 6-2 win at #5. Alyssa claimed the Bear with aggressive, controlled net play that helped her doubles team claim the deciding point.

The Tigers fall to Boone Wednesday, 5-0 ending the 2025 season. We are proud of the efforts of all of our entire team and especially our seniors who have now played their last match!

One fun addition to moving Girls Tennis to the fall is participating in the Homecoming Parade for the first time! We had teammates representing many other activities as well, including swimming, volleyball, band, FFA, and on the Homecoming Court! It's a great day to be a Tiger!
