“Team Turkey”, Trent Turba and Anna Key played some tough tennis today at the State Coed Tennis Tournament. The Tigers fell against Boone 5-7, 2-6 and Central Dewitt. 3-6, 7-6(3), 5-7.

Sam Simon and Mary Jacobson got three matches in today at the Iowa State Coed Tennis Tournament in Pella. The Grinnell duo opened with a win over North Polk 6-2, 7-6(5) before falling to Waterloo Columbus and Boone.

Good Luck to Chase & Kennedy and Piper & Zander at the Coed State Tennis today in Waterloo! The only state sanctioned coed tennis tournament in the nation has been played since 1969!

Piper and Zander defeat Audubon 6-2, 6-1 to move into the round of 16 at Coed State!

Kennedy and Zander defeat Audubon 6-2, 6-1 to advance at Coed State!

Piper and Zander defeat the other Audubon team 6-2, 6-1, Kennedy and Chase fall to Heelan 3-6, 0-6 in exhibition matches to end our day at Coed State.

Today we completed a month of youth tennis camp! This marked our 20th year of Grinnell Tennis Association camps! Our focus was on fundamentals while having fun with maybe a little too much, Swamp! Thanks to all who participated and especially to the GHS players who volunteered!
