The clothing industry accounts for about 4% of the world's annual greenhouse gas emissions, and while the slow fashion movement is growing, more work must be done to reduce textile waste. #Sustainability #Textiles #Sustainable #Livegreen #Recycle ow.ly/Wh3f50NKIiY

I propose that the Federal Government (more specifically OPM) do away with locality pay for any job authorized for telework. There is no reason tax payers should pay a premium so that a federal employee can work from home in a high cost versus low cost zip code.

wtop.com/dc/2023/12/why… Wouldn't it be wonderful if every school district published the ratio of total licensed teachers to the number of teachers actually in a classroom every day. That is the kind of data point parents and taxpayers could use to make an informed decision.

I keep seeing posts referencing RINOs (Republican In Name Only) and I keep wondering who gets to decide true vs false republicans. Especially fascinating because some of the greatest Republican leaders in our history would probably fail to qualify by todays standards.

Many DC based Federal employees work from home because they can do their job from anywhere. Why are taxpayers paying 33% pay differential for DC work-from-home jobs? Lets open those jobs up to workers across the country and achieve that equity OPM keeps talking about.

I am shocked.... A senior adviser for Angela Alsobrooks says she was unaware of the problem and that her attorneys are working with both D.C. and Maryland to resolve the tax issue. wtop.com/maryland/2024/…
