In the summer we are so busy with the kids, and to be honest, it’s hard for me to get my workouts in. It’s not about finding time, it’s about making time. I’m grateful for my team...they help me stay on track during these busy months.

A little driveway hockey tonight. Jaxon is enjoying his lessons and it’s fun having him at the rink when I’m there during the week.

Had a blast at the Blueberry Run last night. It was fun running some of the Holland Haven Marathon course, and a free donut was the best part!

Alexis and Jaxon loved Try Hockey Day at Griff’s. I was so proud of Alexis for wanting to skate and they both had a blast playing hockey!

Growing up with brothers, we played many sports. Many of my childhood days I spent in ice rinks. Now, as a dad with a daughter, cheerleading and dance are new to me! Alexis is loving it, and it’s been fun going to her practices/games, and seeing the hard work she puts in.

This morning’s sweat fest workout in the living room was intense. Glad to get that one out of the way with J shadowing me. One week until my next 26.2 race. #marathon #saturday

It was a busy and fun time being back home for Thanksgiving last week. It went by too quick and it was great to unplug and just hang out with family. I got to spend time with my siblings and the kids were able to create some memories with their cousins.

My step is here! Can’t wait to start soon!

And just like that 6 weeks went by! I didn’t take a “before” photo but this program definitely challenged me. I feel stronger. It helped me manage my stress during this strange last quarter of the school year.
