Does anyone actually grasp the concept of negotiating? You have to give something the other side wants to get something you want. We are basically trying to haggle. #hagglingisnotnegotiating

Thread. I find the proposals to "review" the judges and and judicial review process chilling. Having assisted with a number of judicial reviews and super complaints to protect victims of domestic abuse I can see that without the courts citizens would have been less safe.

A number of people have asked questions about the tragic case of Caroline Flack. I have no particular insight into her case or her personal circumstances. But some general observations are set out below for assistance.

An all too common story as well as not having the right kind of evidence to prove that the person has been subjected to domestic abuse bbc.co.uk/news/uk-529657…

WHY do large numbers of perfectly competent police officers and social workers continue repeatedly to use the word “disclosure” to refer to a thing said by a child suggestive of abuse, when they should be saying “allegation”?

Always nice to hear a child is doing well under a Supervision Order. In the nicest possible way I hope never to come across the child again.
