when the semester ended yesterday but one of my grad school apps is due tonight — the chaos never ends for me

my new year is off to a very odd start. first my bf and brother & his bf get covid. I avoid getting covid somehow. then i fly back to nyc and my tooth starts hurting. i get to my apartment and the microwave dies. THEN i have to go to the dentist and have an emergency procedure 🥺

The 19th is my fav news organization and their mission and news partially inspired my thesis on gender disparities in journalism. Can’t wait for another year of amazing stories!
