Astrid was downstairs at Natasha’s house, waiting for her to come down. She grinned when she heard footsteps on the stairs, poking her head out from the pillow and blanket fort she had made in Natasha’s living room. “Come cuddle and watch a movie with me?”

// Okay, call me crazy, but if you’re going to straight up be an asshole right off the bat when we haven’t even interacted before, I’m just gonna block you. Like.. what the actual hell?

“Oh, it is pretty badass.” Astrid said with a mischievous little smirk. “Basically I can create and manipulate fire at will.” She said, lifting her hand up, palm upwards. “Like this.” After a moment of concentration, tiny licks of fire began to dance along her fingers.

Astrid let out a soft chuckle, moving her hand around a bit, the flames moving with the motion of her hand. “Thank you.”

Astrid let out a soft chuckle, closing her hand into a fist, extinguishing the flames. “I can manipulate fire in my surroundings.. and create bigger fires, but that can get dangerous.” She said with a mischievous grin.

Astrid let out a heavy sigh, shrugging her shoulders. “Maybe because you can’t even look me in the eyes?”

Astrid shook her head, taking in a deep, shaky breath. “Just tell me..”

// I’m sorry for my absence the last couple of days. I’ve been spending time with family celebrating my birthday! Which is actually today, so after today, I should be around more often again.

She couldn’t help but giggle at that, nodding happily. “Yes, that’s something I usually try to avoid.”
